MapCrunch is a fantastic website connecting to Google Street View, and you can click the green "Go!" button to enjoy the random street view in different countries. But it seems kind of boring to simply have the sights of these street view. Therefore, I'm going to show you how to play this game.
🚩Preface: Imagine that some day you wake up, you notice that you are in a unfamiliar place. You are confused, startled and scared. Where am I? How to go back to my house?
🚩Goal of game: Find an airport to fly back to Taiwan.
🚩Operation: Click the "Option" button above and click the " Map" button on the top of the list, and then you will see where you are on the map. But this way, it will become less interesting. So, if you want to challenge yourself and have some surprise, you can check the "stealth" and the location will be hided. The rest of the controls in MapCrunch are all the same as GoogleMap.
After the description of the game, let's click the Go! button and explore the world!

I have to say this game is really difficult, though. Even though you start in an urban place, finding an airport is still a demanding task. However, as I see it, the main point of MapCrunch is to enjoy the local scenery, and it's always good to find out what the local residents are doing in their daily life. If you are weary of your regular life, how about take a glimpse of the somewhere on the earth?
Honestly speaking, I've never heard of this website before. I checked out this website after reading your blog and found out that this website is even more interesting than google earth! For example, there's a "gallery" section for people like me who have no idea which country to choose to have a virtual tour. There're so many well-taken photos to enjoy in the gallery. However, since I'm suck at finding directions, I think I'll just skip your game and just sit back and appreciate the scenery lol
回覆刪除Wow! This game seems really cool and I want to spare some time to give it a try. Maybe after the annoying linguistic midterm exam.:( To be honest with you, my dream is to travel around the world. I think I can take a glimpse of different places of the world in advance by playing this game.XD
回覆刪除This is a cool tool for people!!. I only know Google Map but I really don't know about this. This tool sounds like Google Map but I think this might better than Google Map. Without spending too much money, we can still look many amazing spetacles at home by using computer. But I think if I win the lottery one day, I might go to these place by myself .
回覆刪除The game sounds cool. The idea of the game was really impressive and unique from others games we may see on the market. What's more, I think the game may be a very useful training for those who have a terrible sense of direction (especially me)
